PUPPIES ARE ADOPTED!!
TRISCUIT – NOW DORIE is doing well. She lives in the hills of Ojochal and is enjoying her life with her new Mamas and her 2 canine siblings. Her mornings start with a long walk, and then lots of playtime. We love hearing about and sharing happy endings.
Triscuit, her 3 siblings, and their Mama Polly were dropped off in a box at the shelter gate. There was a note saying the dog and pups were abandoned at the beach (who would do such a thing!). Now all 4 puppies are adopted and Mama Polly is waiting for her new family.

This sweet mama dog and her 4 puppies were recently left in a box outside the gate of the El Refugio shelter with a note attached to the box that said they were found on the beach. The mama dog is very sweet and walks well on a leash. The puppies are young and are curious and happy.

Visit our shelter
Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!
All animals at El RefUgio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
