Hi, I’m Franky. I was a stray, scared, starving and living in Cortés, Costa Rica. Thankfully, two angels were patient with me and helped me gain their trust. They fed me everyday for two weeks, and then I finally let them save me. Now, I am at El Refugio eating lots and loving my new life.
When Franky was rescued
I was named after a beautiful human named Frank Tortoriello as a tribute to his memory and his dedication to helping animals in need and his support of El Refugio. Because of Frank, and other supporters like him, I was given a new chance on life. Now, I am ready to love you unconditionally. Will you be mine? xoxo Franky

Visit our shelter
Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!
All animals at El RefUgio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
