Wilson was such a JOY to have at El Refugio. He came to us very sick and malnourished, but with medical attention, lots of special care, and LOTS OF LOVE, he has become his true beautiful self.
We are very thankful for all who helped Wilson (the angels who rescued him and brought him to El Refugio, the volunteer veterinarians, his foster family, the many shelter volunteers, Wilson’s travel escort to Seattle, and all the donors and others who have cheered us and Wilson on. We want to especially thank the Pittie Project PNW that took Wilson in and helped him find his forever home. We are all so very grateful to be a part of this amazing rescue. We all deserve a home!

Visit our shelter
Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!
All animals at El RefUgio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
