Why it Matters
Every day, El Refugio Costa Ballena cares for dogs and cats who need food, shelter, medical treatment and love.
Some arrive malnourished or injured. Others need treatment for disease, parasites or other medical conditions. We love them and provide the care they need to become healthy and give them a safe place to stay until they are adopted.
We also provide free and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries and help families who cannot afford critical veterinary care, medicine or food for their pets.
