COSTA RICA SUGAR WITH A LITTLE STREET SMART
Hi, my name is Dulce. I was found in a rice sack on a jungle road in the ditch. It is hard to believe someone abandoned me, since I am the sweetest dog ever!
I am about 4 years old and 10kg, so not too big. I get along well with other dogs and cats too. I am house trained. I walk well on a leash. My favorite thing is a good belly rub.
My foster family says I probably need a fenced yard or walled garden because I like to investigate the jungle sounds. I am too small to survive in the jungle by myself. Or, maybe city life would do well for me because there are less jungle smells but I shouldn’t roam the streets alone. I get along well with everyone and would love to be part of your family. We can enjoy life together. I can’t wait to meet you. xoxo Dulce

Visit our shelter
Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!
All animals at El Refugio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
