HI, I’m Dulce. I was found on the side of the road, abandoned, pregnant, near Dominical, Costa Rica. I had my four puppies on September 2, 2019, and we are being cared for by a beautiful foster family – thank you! My pups have found homes and now I am available for adoption. And, yes, you guessed it!  I am sweeter than sugar!! xo Dulce

Visit our shelter

Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!

All animals at El RefUgio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
