Hi, my name is RICA. I came to the shelter with five kittens! I enjoyed being a mama, but now I want a home of my own. I am a strong female cat, with a sense of independence but always with lots of love for my humans. Let’s live life richly together! I’m waiting for you at El Refugio. xo Rica
Rica is not shy about talking to you, emitting the cutest meows when she wants attention or when she is happy! She is a very affectionate girl, but she likes attention in small doses. Rica still loves her kittens, and I often see them snuggling and playing together at the shelter.

Visit our shelter
Our shelter is open to the public for Adoption Saturdays from 9-12 every Saturday. If you are unable to visit during those hours, please contact us to arrange another time!
All animals at El Refugio are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
