Fundado a principios de 2017, El Refugio Hogar Animal Costa Ballena (“El Refugio”) es la única organización de rescate animal en la región de Costa Ballena, al sur de Costa Rica. El objetivo de El Refugio es mejorar el bienestar de perros y gatos mediante iniciativas de rescate, clínicas de esterilización y vacunación a bajo costo, programas educativos y asistencia comunitaria, con el objetivo de rescatar y rehabilitar perros y gatos sin hogar, abandonados y heridos.

Es importante indicar a todos los amigos del Refugio Hogar Animal Costa Ballena, que dicha Organización cuenta con la autorización del Ministerio de Hacienda, para poder recibir donaciones y que el donante puede incluir dicha donación para ser deducido de la renta.
